Are you aware that children, teens, parents, or even grandparents fond of using social media like Facebook or Twitter to post things that's happening to them every second of their day. Whatever they are doing, we knew. However they are feeling, oh yea, we knew. Being a stalker, can be so easy just by using these social gadgets. We can stalk them all day by just sitting down in our comfortable chair and they will tell us what's been going on in their life.Found a new love? Someone in the family passed away? Failed in exams? Ace in exams? Bought a new pair of shoes or clothes? Haven't read a few chapters yet in Taxation? Straightened her hair? New contact lenses? New boyfriend? New girlfriend? Became a sudden model? Broke up with current boyfriend? Broken hearted? Watched Real Steel?

Oh yes! We particularly knew everything about you now. It makes conversation becoming more dull when meeting face-to-face. It's like we knew everything about you and there aren't any questions left to be ask.

Sometimes you gotta keep some mysterious in you to yourself. Don't expose yourself to the whole world.

Talking about Monday Blues.Well, this is sad. My results in Year 2 Semester 1 Finals, hmm, only in satisfactory category. I couldn't make it to the excellence. I only have myself to be blamed.
The fact is I really hope to get really well in them. But I guess, good results comes with attentive listening during lectures and of course, doing tutorials in time. Compared to all of them who ACE, I believe that it is not about the projects you have in hand. It's TIME MANAGEMENT! No matter how much projects you have, or you're working or whatever activities you are joining, it's how you manage it, and still finish your tutorial and assignments on time.

Okay, I'm very sad right now! Seriously sad! Dissapointed! Feeling all TEARY right now!

I believe being a daughter in a family is even harder than having a son.
Excuse me for saying that, not to offend anyone but yes.
Young girls, especially, are too blinded by the society, media and movies.

Look at the World Beauty Pageant- what do you need, looks. Oh yes. Big eyes, big boobs, long legs, dye-d silky hair, size ZERO dress, like come on! You're saying why girls suffer from bulimia rates are increasing, and why girls suffer from low self-esteem, its because of all these. Beauty defines as being skinny, physically! No matter how much someone said that what matters is the inside, deep down all of us are aware, love at first sight only falls on the outer beauty of FACE & BODY! So, I suggest we should abolish these beauty contests. Who are HUMANS to judge whether you're beautiful or not and get a prize and acknowledgement that "WOW! SHE'S MISS WORLD!" So what? Who cares anyway? I pity those young girls nowadays. They have to wear the latest trend, or else they will be claimed laid back, old school, bla3. Yes, this still happens in our society. And not only that, everyone wants a boyfriend. For what? To show off? Like come on! Please la!

Not only that, society these days tend to look down on females who cover up their body! For example, you wore long pants and t-shirt, and your friends would ask, "Hey, waa, tutup aurat arh? Why don't you wear mini skirt or HOT pants?" Then why don't you wear a bikini instead if you want people to see what your assets looks like. Like come on. Even the own female species would wanna show what they got. Men's clothing don't show their chest or showing their huge tummy, or even worse wear short boxes to the supermarket, so why women, why do you do that? I find it SOOO WEIRDDD!!! Why do you wanna show to the entire supermarket what you have? Y U NO SHAME? U THINK U SEXY? U THINK U HOT?

Why does one tend to criticize when a certain thing is for good attention. Like the KTM Coach untuk WANITA right? I know it's kinda old story, but I just feel like bring it up. Well, I'm a historical type of fella, so yea. Why do women complained that time when the that coach wanita was being introduce. I really can't imagine squeezing myself with all the crowd of men and women. A big NO-NO!

I know it hurts when reality strikes! Being a girl is just nasty! Emotional creatures, that's us! We tend to put so much emotion in certain thing on sometimes things that didn't happen or haven't happen or never gonna happen. I dunno. It's just hard.

I know my writing is little mess up, but this is how I usually talk. Expressionism! I guess I said enough. For now. There's more. You just got to stay tuned!

Overprotective Parents.

Dear all,
Overprotective parents tell their children what they want them to do and not to do. What to wear and what not to wear. What to learn in school and what not to learn. Telling their children they should be a doctor when they didn't even want to. This not only takes away the creativity of the child but also takes away the confidence in making decision in life. He/she doesn't know how much he/she is worth in the society by his/her own capabilities. Why? Because when life gives him/her lemon, she doesn't know what to do with it, or she is afraid that she will make good lemonade with it? Can somebody tell me? Mum? Dad?

That child has lost ALL THE confidence in making decision. That child is afraid, because over-protective parents often put fears in the child's mind. Saying something like, "If you go there, you are not my child anymore", "if you want, then you go la, don't come back", "I'm the one who raised you up. Feed you. Give you pocket money, nice clothes to wear- you should listen to me!", and this killer statement, " I AM YOUR MOTHER. YOU MUST LISTEN TO ME!"

So, parents, my advice to you, show some support to that child of yours. Give him/her the freedom to make decision and support that decision he/she made. Besides, he/she has his/her reasons in making that decision. Hear him/her out without being judgmental and thinking you have to say something. Parents, just because he/she go against your will, it doesn't mean that the decision he/she made is WRONG!

It's been a busy week...

Yup, it's always been a busy week for me since I've entered the Third Semester,2011/2012. Sometimes I wonder how could I possibly cope all these hectic student life until now. Perharps one of the reasons is that I told myself not to join any more projects like Accounting Night 2012 and Accounting Camp 2012. Being a Head Of Department of Publicity in Intervarsity Investment Challenge 2011 had taken loads of my time. Still, it didn't effect my studies time. I won't allow that for sure. But until now, I still manage to balance between projects and my studies. Taking things one step at a time seemed to be a very important thing to do.

Next thing, assignments kept coming in at the very last moment. And the dateline for every assignments are super close to each other. Well, handling assignments on time wouldn't be a problem if my laptop didn't disappoint me. My laptop broke down when the dateline is so close. Geez! What to do! Recently I learn something about myself that I'm not proud of. All the testings in life! Good thing I didn't break down myself. And thank goodness I have my bestfriend, AizatArief to lend me his laptop and always there when I needed him most.

I also would like to thank God for all the testings He put on me. I didn't blame him for all these. I know that He is training me for the future and He is planning to make me stronger in person, spiritually and mentally. He wants me to go back to Him for guidance and wisdom, therefore He puts me into testing. To test my tolerance, my patience, my wisdom in handling situations like these and making me aware that He is always watching me,so there is always someone to take care of me when I can't faced it alone.

Intervarsity Investment Challenge 2011 will be held next Saturday, 10th December 2011. I can't wait! The event is so close! The whole coming weekdays, I would be super busy, I can tell. Ah well, the capital C- Commitment takes place here. I sure hope for the best for the exciting event.

I've just finished watching a You Tube video on the little 2-year old girl in China who got hit by two large vehicles and nobody even bother to give her a hand. She was bleeding profusely and still 18 passerby just walked-by, like a rat just died or something. Come on! Where is your humanity,people? I mean, humans are born with humanity, that is what I believe in. We have compassion and empathy in us.

I can't believe people can be this cruel. How can you even watch other people who is dying and just walked by? I understand that the law in your country makes you pay a HUGE sum of cash if you hit someone or even save somebody, but that is someone's LIFE you're taking for heaven sake! I wonder how do you sleep at night knowing that you have taken someone's life.

What I can say is, this video opens up my eyes that there is still cruelty in the world. We just can't avoid that. This saddens me and all I can do is pray for the more caring and loving people in the world.
This world needs to know God better, and not only rely on materials like money and wealth till they can neglect human rights.

Even animals love their own species. Why not human themselves?

Think about it.

Money is not everything.

They are solely papers used to exchange goods and services.

Don't let them take away your humanity, your conscious mind and your integrity.

Money can't buy happiness at all.

Bear that in mind.

Roadshow? What roadshow? Oh yes. Currently I'm busy with another brand new project in hand organized by University of Malaya Accounting Club namely, Intervarsity Investment Challenge 2011.

This event will be held on the 10th December 2011. So, as the Head of the Publicity Department, my team and I got to sweat it all out in doing, yup, publicity for the exciting and incredible event.

It's exciting cause it's so new for us and for all of you out there too.

Not only that, it's super incredible because you could win yourself RM4000 cash prize home!

How?

All you (undergraduates from any faculty) have to do is just, well, register (here) your team from 3 to 5 members and bank-in as much as RM50 per team as the registration fee. Yup, it's that easy.

We went to University Putra Malaysia (UPM) to hold a roadshow there. The people there were very welcoming and friendly. They actually took the time to stop-by by our booth to acquire more about IVIC2011. Simply encouraging!

Finally A New Beginning..

Indeed this holiday is the best! I made so many friends, made many experience. I hanged out with my closest friends, and cousins. Felt the family closure. I learn how to strum a lil on the guitar, made some handmade stuffs, and I BAKE, brownies and cake batik! And yea, I worked in Kopitiam.

Yes, this holiday had been incredibly awesome.

Guess I'm ready!

Not exactly a new beginning. Just a new semester, where I'm staying in a brand new place. Yup, I've moved out from Kolej Kediaman 3 into someplace OUTSIDE from my campus. Scary it seemed.

Tomorrow, this is it, I will start my journey. Guess a new path awaiting for me to glide through. A little nervous though. But I know somehow someway. I'll make it through.

New semester,

new year,

new hopes,

new challenges,

new housemates,

new faces(juniors),

new competitions,

new responsibilities,

new chapter of life!

Hmm, I understand when they said that everything from the past are HISTORY and all you gotta do is MOVE ON. But what if, what if, you can't move on but you are pretending you do, just so people know that you aren't still dwelling in your past. Does it have to be like that?

Well, it can be difficult. No one said it isn't. To forget someone that once means so much to you. How can you? You can never forget anyone that means that lot. All you can do is smile and see them excel and let go!

She's cool and an awesome person.

She can be my really close and best friend if we were in the same university or something.

It was great to have meet up with her and catch up new stories with her. Yup, I do appreciate friendship.

I believe friendship can only last this long if there are effort put into it. Same goes to any relationship, you gotta work at some point to actually sustain that relationship, either with your family members, your significant other, and your friends.

I kinda had a productive conversation with my brother in the car today while fetching from school today, which left me well, SPEECHLESS! So, beginning we had this conversation about Adam and Eve- Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruits from the Tree of Knowledge instead of the fruits from the Tree of Life,where they will live for eternity if they were to eat the fruit from the tree. Here comes the questions. The questions were quite intelligent. The questions were about... Death!

Bro: Hey sis, let's say if Adam and Eve never ate that fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, then what will happen then?

Sis: Well, I guess, all of us will live forever-there won't be any changes in age difference or so on.

Bro: So, there will be no any modern technologies,like cars or machines?

Sis: Yea, I guess so. All of us will not have to work at all. Everything is provided. Because the punishment was Man has to work hard to get food on the table. They were shooed away from the Garden of Eden.

Bro: Then, what about after we die, sis? What happen? Let's say we die in our sleep, how?

Sis: So, we will sleep forever and won't wake up. ( I know. I have no idea what to answer,actually.)

Bro: Then, what about judgement day. We will wake up again right?

Sis: Yea. And be judged by God.

Bro: With what body?

Sis: Well, our body. We will be rose again by God for the Judgement day.

Bro: Then, let's say if we are going to hell, how can we feel that it is burning or feel any pain, since we do not have a body anymore and no more receptors. (wuu. Science!)

Sis: Hmm. (started to be speechless!)

Bro: Don't you see,sis? And we do not have a brain after that right? Our body is gone. Turned into dust. How can it possibly that we can think or even feel anything? Even though we're in heaven, how can we actually feel the paradise there?

Sis: *thinking and absorbing* (I was thinking that, it makes sense. When it comes to questions like this, nothing is written in the Bible about this. Therefore, I seriously have no idea on how to answer him. Christians will say that, "God has His way in this", "Who are we to question God?")

Sis: Hmm. Yea, then it means that we will be heaven and enjoy paradise like forever and ever? Hmm.. Yea, I also don't really know how to answer that.

All you need are,

::350 gram of Marie Biscuits

::375 gram of butter

::400 gram of cooking chocolate

::15 spoon full of Milo powder

::1/2 cup of condensed milk

:: 3 eggs

Another Expectation which Leads to Disappoinment.

All of us have hopes. High hopes about certain happenings in our life. Hope for a better life, hope to know God intimately, and hope to succeed in career; university, hope to be happy and perharps, hope to find The One.

Well, doesn't being hopeful means expecting for the best? Or, maybe the worse? Anyone?
In this case, suppose nobody will expect the worse nor hope that bad things will ever happen to them. Assume everyone is being optimistic and just hope/expect the best outcome at the end of the day.

Of course, it will be very frustrating and disappointing when thing do not go our way. Everyone has been in that situation, of course. Guess all of those unsatisfactory outcomes are just part of human's life. So-called the testing to know that actually there is someone out there who controls the whole situation in your life. And who is that mysterious force be? The ever powerful, mighty and holy God.

Everything that ever happens to us, are the will of God.

When good things happen, you will remember and give thanks to your Creator. When bad things happen, do you blame your Creator? No! People who recognize the existent of their Creator will understand that whatever situation God had lead them into is for the best for them in that particular situation.

Sometimes we, humans tend to think that whatever good things happen to them is because they worked hard at it. For example, when you succeeded in your Matriculation with a 4 flat, yes, indeed you give thanks, but a few will say that “Well, it’s my effort! Duhh!”

Well, who gave you this effort? Who gave you your mum and dad? “Well, they are the product of my grandparents’ la!” Sometimes, I’m kinda pissed of the answers. They are stating the obvious and they just see something so shallow. Something that’s on the surface. Not something spiritual, but some answers are based on Science. How can you relate Science with spiritual beliefs?

Let’s take the Holy Trinity for example,which defines that God as three divine persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God exist in three persons but is ONE God. Trinity itself is considered to be a mystery to Christian faith.

The church gave an example of an egg-consist of 3 parts; starting from inside:: the egg yolk, the white Albumen, and the shell. All of them is called EGG. So, its like, there’s God, Jesus and Holy Spirit but all of them are God. Personally, I know what I believe in.

The thing is, ladies and gentlemen, there isn’t any eggs philosophy in the Bible that can relate to Trinity theory.

Human beings can’t just create a theory out for the sake of it. To get a better understanding that its not what God intent them to understand. Well, guess that's part of God's plan too.

That’s just an example, by the way. Let’s not get any emotional feelings about it, shall we?

Parting can be difficult,especially when we do know changes will occur.
It will definitely take place no matter what. All these changes are a part of growing up process.

Oh yes, today was the very first time Jien May stepped in to K-Box. I can't remember the reason why I chose not to join any karaoke gathering during my youthful time.. Hmm, I wonder. Well, this may sound a lil old fashioned and all, but seriously, I had the time of my life.

I sang till I can't sing anymore. I was so exhausted from singing and I kept drinking green tea to sustain the voice. Foong and Jia Yi kinda gave this suggestion, wanting to meet up. I didn't thought it was karaoke initially, but I was thrilled with the idea later on when they suggested it. And yes, I did had a great time. Though, I'm pretty aware I don't have the sweetest voice, but it's all about having a good time. And yes, I DID!

Then, we watched a CHINESE Movie "Wu Xia". At first, I was hesitated. But, I can't always be a 'bad sport' right? I knew Jia Yi and Foong wanted to watch that movie badly, so I gave in.
To my surprised the movie was incredibly full of beautiful scenery of China during the olden days. I love it!
It left me breathless. Over-exaggerating, am I?

A Story Of A Chinese Girl.

Once upon a time, there was this typical Chinese girl living in Malaysia where coffee is white, where flowers grow over-sized and also where all races are one. She's not ordinary physically, but her personality is just beyond from your imagination. From a child, she has developed a deep sense of curiosity, where by people would find her to be very annoying at times. She has a lot of questions in her mind. Questions that sometimes, unanswerable, which cause others to just shut away from her and ask her to stop asking or think so much. She has this really loud squeaking voice-you can hear it from 3 blocks away, and that's just her talking, not shouting yet. If she were to shout, I bet the whole neighbourhood can hear her screaming SOS, if there's a case of emergency-which will really put her voice to good use. I remembered last time, when she was a monitor in my class, she used to shout "DIAM", the whole class was shaking, and kept really quiet. She used to hate her voice because it's not girly enough,according to mia. Ah well, as she's growing up to a young lady, I believe God is taking real good care of her, as in providing her with a caring and loving family, amazing friends wherever she goes, and well, a great love life is about to come for her.

We planned this like a week ago using the same food that we used for the BBQ. It was simply great to have them filling my holiday. Tee hee~ Not much though-eggs,fishballs, crabmeats, and Foong bought VEGE.. Mum and dad wasn't around, so we had our BIG laughter openly. This gathering was so cool. We even planned to have our next gathering, maybe travelling somewhere in Malaysia. Can't wait for that moment to come! This holiday is simply too long, don't you think?

That's why, I need to fill my time with more activities since I'm not working anymore.

AND it's my BIRTHDAY!

I'm not gonna say much about it but yea, it was rather peaceful in Ipoh compared to KL area. And I went out with Kas & Ling.

So, yeah, they were so sweet. They treated me banana split in Crazy Ice-Cream.

Had a chit-chat here and there. It was just superb.

Though we only met for a couple of hours,

it was nice having them around. Ling actually came back from UCSI. Cheh wah!

I'm back with more stories of my life. And I'm back as a 20-year old woman.

Time flies fast didn't it?

I had the BEST & MEMORABLE BIRTHDAY EVER,

considering that I'm close to my friends and my family.

Story time!

No exactly telling you a story, but well, just to record down the happenings in my life.

Ready! READ!

The story begins on a fine Monday outing with Foong You Sheng and Jia Yi. We had a great day talking and updating each other, just hanging out in one of the Chinese restaurant in De Gardens. I kinda forgot the name. Aiyah! Ah well, then they were saying about my promise that I will held a BBQ party in my house if I were to receive JPA scholarship. So, I did, didn't I? Guess that's the time I have to fulfill my promise. So, the following Wednesday ( 6/9/2011), we gather Lian Ching and Fann to Tesco Station 18 and shopped for RAW chickens( which we marinated in my house later on.PS: I did the marinated job. My first time.) We bought a lot of fish balls, crab meats, satay, fishcakes,etc. They can't finish the fish balls and the crab meats. Still in my refrigerator,though. :)

As we go on with the BBQ session, which started around 6.30pm since procrastination occurred when all of us prefer watching videos in You Tube than lighting up the BBQ thingy. The clock shows 8pm and we still haven't get to BBQ anything at all. I was asking my bro for his help, he taught me to use the oil to make the fire bigger, but attempt failed. Foong was blowing the fire so hard that his face was like black with the ash dust(didn't get to take a picture of him, though). Then DAD to the RESCUE! He kinda just use the newspaper and fanned the BBQ tray and yup, we started BBQ-ing. Mum brought out the stove for us to grill and cook the food. She mentioned that its faster and cleaner way, hmm, I prefer BBQ-ing.

Out of the sudden, Foong said he wanted to take his DSLR from his house which was nearby to my housing area. So, off he went with Jia Yi, leaving me with Fann and Lian Ching. After 15 minutes, TO MY SURPRISED, ALL of them started singing and I was like SHOCKED, seriously SPEECHLESS. Foong and Jia Yi appeared behind me with a brown cake with two lighted candles on their hands. I was like,( usual me ) crying out, OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

So, yeah, I had a fantabulous time with them.. I didn't know nor did I expect this BBQ turned out to be a Birthday Celebration. :) for Me~

Kolej Kediaman Ketiga or we as called it Kolej Kediaman Kurshiah, used to be my residential college when I was in my First Year (2010/2011).

So, TODAY is a special day because I’m going to help my beloved juniors who are going to have their intake in University of Malaya. Congratulation! When I got my intake, and I kinda Google-d the name “Kolej Kediaman Ketiga University of Malaya”, none came out except the official UM website. Nobody seemed to blog about it and I have no idea of how it really looks like and what facilities does it have. So, today must be your lucky day for incidentally click in to my blog.

Facilities in KK3 – Ironing board. Iron. Black and white television in Girl’s Block (I’m not sure about the guy’s block though). Basketball court. Badminton court. Tennis court. Air-conditioned Bilik Bacaan. Computer room. Hmph.. What else?

In your room- 4 electric switches shared by you and your roommie. 2 cupboards, one each. 2 study tables. Double-decker bed. Actually it really depends on how many can your room occupy. You see, I got this room at block A where I only have one roommate. The maximum occupants you can have is 3 only. So there will be like 3 beds, 3 cupboards and 3 study tables. Plus shoe rack and shelves in every room.

Toilets- Well, in the girl’s block, we have toilet in each side of the floor- left wing and right wing. Clean? Well, for me I have no problem with the toilet though. The mak cik cleaners are very hardworking in maintaining the cleanliness of the toilet. You people play a role too. Just make sure that you don’t dispose any wastage in the sink that will eventually block the sink. Not a very nice sight, don’t you think?

Beware of MONKEYS! Oh yes! We have lots of them in KK3. No, they are not CUTE! Make sure your windows and doors are close at all time, or maybe just between 12 pm to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm. This will be the time they will come out from the bushes behind the block and crawl to your room and give you a few surprises like STOOL on your bed. Yup. On my second day of orientation, I kinda thought the facilitator was joking about the warning of monkey attack. Like seriously. So, I didn’t bother to close the window and the next thing I know, fuhh! My food in the containers were all empty. Milo 3-in-1 HABIS! And the smell of the room was simply overwhelming. The condition of my room that very moment was in devastating state. *imagine that* My roommate had a peak in the room and she went crying. So, I guess I gave you a beautiful view on how-you-wish-you-have-close-your-window lesson. It took 2 hours for Maggie and I to clean up the room, though. Yet, it took at least 2 weeks to suffer the stench in the room. It was horrible. Trust me! Eee!!

Food- They will be providing 3 days a meal food. I love the tomato fishballs served every Thurday. Yummy. Also, I’ll be looking forward for Friday lunch, where they’ll served Nasi Hujan Panas with Acar Timun and Ayam Masak Merah. Simply delicious! Ooo, and Sirap or Bandung! Hmmpphh.. Bet I had you drooling over that, didn’t I? Ahaks.

Events- I took part in Pesta Tiong Hua Makan Malam as one of the emcee and Pesta Tiong Hua as a Red-Riding Hood Cheongsam usher. That is all. If you’re active in sports, you can join the Sukan stuffs, or basketball competition. I almost join basketball competition but I pulled out since I have a lot of assignments to catch up that time. No regrets, Jien May. Malam Anugerah Kurshiah is your annual dinner where you dress glamorously with glitters and gilts, bow and tie.

Feeling hungry? Grab the MAMAK! – Not exactly a mamak though. It's called SAHUR. There are varieties of food from the east. Anything from roti canai, roti telur, roti MILO, Maggi Goreng mamak, French fries, nasi goreng cina, etc.. Mamak food la..

I guess that is all I have to write about KK3.

Friends That's Worth Keeping

I must admit, I do forget who I am most of the time. Going with the flow is NOT COOL. It's like you're doing what everyone is doing. Well, I did sway a lil and trying to get back to who I really am. Last week, I met up with my OLD friend, Kasturi in Jusco. We hung out and talked non-stop about everything. It was awesome and fun. I really miss talking to her. Next, Ping and Ling came to see me in my workplace. We had a small talk. Just like that. Boy, why am I working that time? Sigh! My boss was kind enough to actually allow me to have a conversation with them. Then, Sam, Kas and Mazwin surprised me in my workplace. We went to Mcdonald after that for supper and had a lil catching up to do. Gosh! It was amazingly fun and incredible to have old friends just sharing and talking about stuffs that only we understand. It's like we can fit in each other shoes and go through what life we had all the years in university and in matriculation.

And I somehow find similarities in all of us. It's like we are sort of sharing the same situation in life. We are just so different from the bias, prejudice, stereotype society, I must say. We never really talk about religion or race in our conversation. We have so much other things to talk about than these. Sadly, it's hard to get people like my buddies here anywhere else I went.

My buddies- Li Ling, Li Ping, Malkit, Kasturi, Shamni, Wan Teng, Kero, Farahin(Billy), and Ashmit were really close and best of friends since primary school. We were in the same class. A few of us were prefects, Ling's a librarian, Wan Teng's the class monitor, Sam and Billy were pelajar awesome dalam kelas. Man, I miss US last time. Teachers used to call us, " GANGSTER BAJU KUNING" Just so you know, my prefect clothes were in LEMON YELLOW accompany by BROWN skirt. WuU~ plus we wear a black high heels. Allen Deon. Mine is like 3 inch high. Fuhh~~

Guess I'll end with this quote.

Even though it had been only a month and a half I've been working in this outlet, I learn quite a few stuffs. Am I happy with it? Well, I somehow believe this is not my expertise.

What I do LOVE about this job(Service Crew) is just one thing,that is getting close to customers as in getting to meet all sorts of people who came in. I learn a lot actually. Peeling the ikan bilis, that's one. Haha. We'll peel the ikan bilis whenever there wasn't any customers around. Seriously, I never peeled those ikan bilis before. We need to take all the heads, feces and fish bones. I get along pretty well with my colleagues, Nana, Shin, Kak Ita, Syahir, Wan and Dean (the new girl).

I love the food there. We get to choose any food we want to eat during our break. And our break will be like from 15-30 minutes, varies according to the hours we worked on that particular day. Seriously, in this outfit- orange cap and orange baggy t-shirt, I really think my boss should work on something about this outfit of ours. Perharps adding a black apron would add tremendous effect on us. Better looking and neat. Cause I never tug my baggy ORANGE t-shirt in. I let it flow out and boy, it's really big. Ah well, it's just a uniform anyway.

Not many customer though on weekdays. Weekends, sometimes there's a wave of customers for us to handle. This job makes me imagine like I'm Flo from Diner Dash computer game. You greet your customers, you let them sit down, take their order, give them their food and give the bills and say, "THANK YOU. Please come again! "

Maybe someday, I might open a new kopitiam restaurant myself.

Working in Coffee Toast Kopitiam got my eyes opened. Really wide. In a way, I learn to observe things around me. The people I meet and talk to. The people I interact with. Or simply, just through observation. In fact, in these 2 and a half week of working in this homely-feeling kopitiam, I can confidently say that I've learn a lot more things than I did as a Service Crew in Sushi King 2 years ago. I learn to make delicious drinks, use the cashier machine, and talk to people in a very friendly way whether they are young or old. There are so many humans' behaviors around me. It's kinda fun watching these various types of manner of conducting themselves.

My 47-year old boss which we regard him as "Sir" has a cute baby girl, I think she approximately 6 months old. I get to play with her and carry her around my arms almost every of my working days, which is pretty awesome. She always laugh and never cries. Adorable!! You know, about 90% of our customers are old Chinese people. One thing I realized when I see old people in wheelchairs. I realized that when you were a baby, you need all the attention you can get- to feed you, to pour you their unconditional love, clothed you, sit on a baby chair during meal time, change your diapers etc. Same goes to old people. They need undivided attention, which is their grown up children's turn to do that. Old people will have no teeth to eat, and starts eating "baby" food, sitting on wheel chairs since their muscles are soften and no longer strong to be able to support them, need someone to feed them and bathe them. They may have temper too, like start to act like children. Life is definitely like a cycle. Our parents took real good care of us, then it's our turn to take care of them since we are the grown ups-financial stable when they are old and need our assistance.

I found that these sadness and anger overwhelm me when I see elderly in the age of 60+ still working as a rubbish collector, sort out all the recycling items from the garbage container. Seriously, I can't help but wonder, " Where are their daughters and sons?". Why aren't them being taken care of their welfare? Sigh! What a thought.

I enjoy talking to strangers and people I newly met. I feel more myself and comfortable with them. I believe chances are I don't see them ever again, I can say anything I want. All I have to do is give them the sweetest smile and just be myself around them. They don't know my past and what I've done. They will judge me on how they see me right there and then.I'm the person I'm now, not then. People I know don't see the difference.

2.Carry a bottle of water and some baking powder in your handbag.

3. If attacked, immediately wash off acid with water.

4. Mix baking powder with water and apply to affected area to neutralise the acid.

5. If no baking powder available,get a lot of water and keep

It's 3.13am in morning and I have this urge to climb Broga Hill and an outing to the waterfall.

Shout on top of my lungs on top of the hill and take pretty pictures there.

There's one in KL called "Ampang Point" where you have to drive all the way up the hill and if you go at night, you can see the whole beautiful city of KL with lights and everything.

It's HOT in here,

Oh my! The heat is taking a toll out of me.

So, I've finish 3 papers- TITAS, Management and Business Statistics. I'm happy that there are only 4 papers left. So, how come am I always smiling after coming out from the exam hall, and was mistaken that I was confident in scoring that paper. Seriously, I gave all my anxiety and stress onto God. I prayed hard before and after the exam, asking for wisdom in answering those questions. Then I just stop worrying and looking forward for the next paper. Ah well, this world is not about exams and all that. Life is too short to look back.

But exams are what distinguish us from people who are not in university right?

A lot of them would like to enter university but they are not given a chance.

So, I guess our job now is to study hard, and well, make our parents proud and give them a chance to brag about us.(All parents do when they get together with their friends or colleagues. Don't believe me? Wait till you're a parent yourself.)

Maslow's Hierarchy Needs? Well, you're actually satisfying the self-actualization need if you were to get good grades.

I have a lot of questions in my head right now.

A series of never ending questions.

I guess I'm born as a curious child.

* Curiosity kills the cat*

Maybe not.

Curiosity means desiring knowledge and understanding.

Not many people are like that.

They don't have the guts to challenge the status quo.

They are afraid, afraid that they might be bugged out from the materialistic, uniform-minded society.

A society that can't accept the differences in people.

That's when the word "peer pressure" comes in.

Young adults have been suffering this pressure they put in themselves,

to be able to be accepted,

they are actually doing to please the society-their friends,

boyfriends, their parents and even to strangers.

From what they wear, how they talk, how they eat,

how they study, how they carry themselves.

If they have the slightest differences like,

not wearing the latest trend,

or wear blue lipstick ( who says you can't wear blue lipstick)

or you love doing notes before exam (your friends said it's waste of time)

maybe, you're thrifty and your popular friends want to eat in a fancy restaurant.

How strong can you handle this peer pressure?

How long can you please someone you don't wish to please in the first place?

What is the point of pleasing them,anyway?

Think about it.

Live the life you want.

When you are different in thoughts and the way you have principles in life,

no one can tells you what you can do or should do.

Live a satisfied life.

You are not them. They are NOT you.

Curiosity is the very basis of education and if you tell me that curiosity killed the cat, I say only the cat died nobly.

"How do I improve my English?"

Very well.

Here are a few suggestions from me to you out there.

Start by speaking English with your friends or family. Even strangers in the lift or the library.
Listen to music station like Red fm, Hitz.fm, Mix fm or Light fm. Yup, tune in to English stations and listen to them speak. You can try singing along to the music. Rap music helps me a lot. Listen now! ( http://www.hitz.fm/Capsule/default.aspx)
Speak out loud when you're reading an English material. It works for Maggie Teh.
Watch English movies in the cinema or English TV Series, like my all-time favorite Desperate Housewife and CSI Miami, CSI New York or House. Or Asian Food Channel. History Channel, to name a few.
Start writing a blog. Improve your grammar and vocabulary by writing. Make sure you update your blog every now and then. Be consistent!

I guess all you need to do is just speak, listen, read and write in English to boast your language.

Howdy!

So, it's Sunday tomorrow. But it's not any typical Sunday. It's Easter day.

So, my dear friends, what is Easter day and why do we celebrate it?

Well, it involve cute bunnies holding chocolate-eggs and we called them, Easter Bunnies.

Oh, how adorable!

There's when we exchanged gifts from me to you. Just the joy of celebrating.

Now now, my friends.

Let's not sway with the gifts and the bunnies.

The main reason is the remembrance of the resurrection of

Jesus Christ from the crucification

(which is when Christians around the world celebrate Good Friday).

So, it was said in the scripture that Jesus was rose again on the 3rd day, which is the Easter day.

So, what I'm trying to say is that, we don't need a particular day to remember the death of Jesus Christ for our sins.

We,Christians have lost our focus

and instead celebrating it with wine and basket full of chocolate bunnies.

Why not everyday you praise the Lord for his Greatness, and not just one a particular day, ONCE in every year. Ironic,don't you think?

I always wanted to make a new blog featuring the 20-year oldie here. But then again, I can't afford to leave this blog. I'm too committed to this baby.

So, here come's study week. I've been pretty much satisfied with my progress. NOT!

Sigh! I wonder if I can finish studying all those 7 subjects I took. 7 subjects multiply with 10 chapter for each subject and it will be equivalent with 70 chapters to study. Ah! 70 chapters in a week?

Praying for miracles!

Now now, of course, if you realize there are always self-motivating post during post-exam.. That is so me. But not this time. Cause, it never worked.

I realized that I'm more hardworking in my studies during matriculation than now. Hmm.. What seemed to be the problem? Maybe.... it's just me trying to fit in with the crowd. Maybe...

English in Malaysia

Bon jour!

English, how important can it be? Or how important is Mandarin? Or the importance of remaining the status quo of Bahasa Malaysia? I can tell you that these had been an issue for a very long time. And I doubt these are going to end in a little while.

Anyway, English is my primary language I used daily in every conversation in any form-verbally and written. True, I’m a pure Chinese girl. It’s just that in my early days, I went to Sekolah Kebangsaan, which makes me who I am today. Yes, I can’t speak my so-called “mother tongue”- Mandarin. *Smile*

There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I have met people of my kind. In fact most of them are still as successful as the ones that can speak Mandarin. You see! =)

I have seen the importance of English when I stepped into university. As I can see, sadly, only 3 out of 120 of my peers have excellence in that international language. But of course, we called it , “Manglish” with the “lah” and “lor” in the end of every sentence. That’s Malaysian’s identity which I’m proud of. That’s what differentiates Malaysian from others. Epic! They can speak, but most of them choose to speak Mandarin with each other. During presentation, you can see them reading from the slides. But I believe they are learning somehow. Thumbs up!

There’s nothing wrong about that. Not to judge them or whatsoever but they claimed that China is going to make it big and even the US citizens are learning Mandarin to market globally. I have also read the paper that China employers are sending their employees to learn English in the western, with the same reason, that is to participate internationally. So, I can see very clearly, language is very important, both English and Mandarin.

However, with English as a tool, we can conquer wider range into the world. We can easily get information in English. Take Google for example. Plus, the assortments books available. Clearly everything in university is conducted in English. Awesome movies, melodious and sing-a-long songs, the large billboards on the road side, advertisements on TV, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and so forth. They are all delivered in English, my friends. That’s knowledge!

Maybe you’re thinking I’m being slightly bias here. Don't get me wrong. I am too, learning mandarin in a snail pace. My secondary language would be in Bahasa. This makes me a complete 1 Malaysia citizen. I’m really blessed to be born and raised in Malaysia. The people here are really friendly. Do you know that Malaysia is the 9^th country in the world for its friendliness?

So, language is important whether it’s conducted in English, Mandarin or Bahasa. It’s how you communicate that’s matter, you want people to understand what you are trying to deliver.

I just read someone's blog about how busy their life can be. I suppose that is how university life suppose to be.

Anyhow, I totally understand.

Sometimes people just need to express in a way just let everything out.

Been busy these couple of days. Well, the week after CNY holidays that is. I've been practicing dance moves and cracking my brain about the opening ceremony gimmick for Accounting Night 2011. Sad to say, we still can't find the solution to a certain problem occurred for the gimmick. Ah!

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be stunningly dressed up for the Makan Malam Pesta Tiong Hua Ke-6 in my Kolej Kediaman Kursiah (Wah~ Semangat mentioning my college's name.) You know what, I realised that my newly-made college friends are super friendly and make you feel welcome to their world. They are really cool. Joke around with you. Smile! And they speak ENGLISH to me!

Aww, so sweet right? Fellas, I appreciate it! I know how much you guys try to talk to me in English. I understand how hard is it to communicate with me. But fear not my newly-made friends, I'm picking up Mandarin *in a very snail pace* but I think, with God's will I may able to master the language before I graduate. How about that! Ha!

I can say that I'm not ready for it at all.

I'm too young to think about death.

I haven't even found my purpose of living yet.

What will happen later?

Will I be witnessing how the world ends-when the world is tumbling down, the building collapsing, the roads cracked into half, people screaming for help, animals were trapped with eyes begging for mercy?

Or will my life just taken away from me just like that? In the Bible, it was said in the scripture that tsunami will not be the cause during Judgement Day.

Oh, what a horrible scene to imagine!

I believe in Judgement Day. I believe it will come where all the human beings will disappear in the face of the Earth.

Will I be witnessing these in my life?

I’ll continue tomorrow I guess. Oh yeah, I went back to home when I’m supposed to be attending Malam Anugerah Kurshiah, which I didn’t and boy, am I glad I didn’t. You see, it’s mainly because I don’t have a dress and I didn't look forward till it was the next day.

“OMG Maggie, tomorrow is the Malam Anugerah. What are we gonna wear?”

“Yeah hor. Hmm”

“We’ll wear jeans and blouse only la”

“You sure arh?”

“ Aiyah. I don’t think anyone will take this seriously la”

“ Hey, my mum is coming la. I think I can’t make it”

“Hmm… *thinking whether should go or not*..”

So after thinking hard, I’ve decided to just let the RM100 worth of Chinese cuisine dinner in Hotel Istana fly-by just like that and spend RM 60 more on train tickets back and forth to Ipoh. A few may say that I’m not being a money-savvy here. But hey, I did make this decision. I’m happy of being able to put a smile on both of my parents’ and Dylan’s face. It was a great, over-whelming feeling. I think the next time I’ll be back is on my semester break which is on May. Planning to work, work, work! And guess what, all of the participants for MAK were wearing expansive outfits with hairdo and makeup, and I was planning to go there with jeans?

It’s 3.12 am.

Tomorrow is going to be another great day, I must say. I can’t see what lies ahead, but I believe what God had planned for me is going to be great anyway.

It’s just a matter of my perception in how I choose to see things that happen.

Now what can I say?

Life has been treating me quite well.

I have been praying a lot this whole while. It's sort of comforting to be able to talk to God and knowing that there is actually someone listening to my challenges- so many things to do in so little time!

Like my previous post, where I told you all my schedule. UM Next Tycoon just ended. And it was actually quite an experience. We didn't win, but I won friendship from this event. Qi En, Maggie, Aizat and I are really close right now. One thing I found out is that they are seriously hilarious. We can laugh and cry together. Not literally cry, but we did overcome a lot of challenges along the way. These things actually bonded us in a great way.

Tomorrow, 3rd March will be the UMAC-Maybank MoneyTree Idea Exchange 2011 event where Jared and I are going to be the master of ceremony for this event and Aizat is going to be the photographer. I must say, I did enjoy the whole emcee thing. But looking at my schedule got me thinking, am I suppose to be this busy? Hmm.

For one moment, I was thinking of how lucky I am that I didn't join the politics in UM.

I was called both by Pro-Mahasiswa and Gerakan UM to join their lair for the election day.

It was the hardest and emotional moment for me during that week, for I do love politics but I was given a lot of downbeat feedbacks from my family, friends and seniors. Perhaps, another year to come. We'll just see.

That's my update. Not much. No time. Gotta go. See ya. I have QA Midterm tomorrow, and it's at 8am.

An extremely busy week for me.

So, it's Tuesday, 7.30am till 10pm. Not attending of classes that day. FAR 2, come on la..

5) Then on the 3rd March, I am chosen to be an emcee in front of approximately 300 students for the SUNWAY MIX ceremony in Dewan Lim Goh Tong. My partner will be Jared, again.

6) More dancing!! AAHHHH!!!! I love dancing but then, somehow, it's taking a lot of my precious time-to study. EVERY NIGHT!!!

7) Accounting Night rehearsal. 4th and 11th March.

8) Malam Anugerah Kurhsiah, 11th March. My college's dinner that we paid RM100 for. It will be held in Hotel Istana.

9) Emcee for Pesta Tung Hua, which is on the 16th March. My college's activity. I'll be speaking either in English or in Bahasa Malaysia.

10)And finally, Accounting Night 2011, which will end all my stressful-ness, glad it's on the 19th March. YAY!

Anger, furious, frustration, HATRED, evil.. HATE !!!!

These words come continuously when you’re angry! Everything bad and negative will fill into your head right now! You’re raging with FIRE and you feel like banging your fist into anything near you, anything hard. I hate you! It’s all you can think of. All the vulgar words were said to the idiot’s face.

You reached for anything to throw onto the floor.

You can’t help it!

You’re so angry!!!

URGH!!!!

So, you headed to your room and banged the door behind you and shut it! You began to shout all your frustration on the top of your lungs. You’re so mad, you can kill a lion. You’re so angry; you began cursing all the awful words you know. You’re so annoyed, that you wish that fella was never born.

You banged your fist into the wall. It felt so good to let your frustration out, which you wish that fist should be on that fella’s jaw, hopefully it will break it. Then, you’ll be happy, well, not entirely happy, but at least you’ll feel better. Or he died, and you won’t attend his funeral. Oh, those evil thoughts of yours! Watch out!

You are aware, that you’re helpless. That idiot is too strong for you. You can't do much about it, but having this feeling of continuous self-pity overwhelmed you. What can you do? You can do nothing. He is just a spoilt brat.

He gets anything he wants. No wonder he feels like he is the KING, the inferior in the house. Talking about ungrateful, snobbish, arrogant fella! So, you start writing all your anger here, wishing that somehow it can calm you down. Fuhh! It didn’t. So, you went to sleep. You know that sleeping can tranquil you down and essentially made you get your mind out about what’s going on, at least for a time being.

But that blue-black on the left cheek cause by the super punch is gravely aching.

1) NUMBER ONE would be reading everything you felt and going through your chamber of secrets. Yup, that significant secret book of yours-your diary. It can be used to blackmail you or use you to do anything they want you to do. The consequences of your diary falling into the wrong hands can lead to destruction of your own life. Oh, that would be just awful, I can’t bear to watch.

I'm joining Accounting Nite as the organizing committee in the Programme department. There are seriously a lot of brain-cracking planning that have to be done -the opening ceremony gimmick, fun and exciting games, cool dances that will WOO the audience, and of course a memorable senior appreciation gimmick. And everything in 2 MONTHS time. Pheww~~We should have started earlier. Not to mention, my midterm exam in the end of the month of Valentine.*hearts*

It’s out with the old and in with the new.

Let's bid farewell to 2010 and welcome the arrival of 2011, the double 1.

I’m actually looking forward for a brand new year. Everything will NEVER be the same again, well, depends how you viewed life that is. I’ve been very philosophic these few days. I like to see humans behave the way they are and even me sometimes. Anyway, here are 10 things I would like to share with you what my 10 New Year’s Resolution are..

1.To be a better person than in 2010- in financial planning, stress management, time management, a friend, a daughter, a roommate, as a student of the prestigious University of Malaya, a citizen of Malaysia, and a girlfriend? XD .Pray more. Ask God for guidance in everyday life.

2. Read at least 30 good books, textbooks are included, of course. =)

3. Get better grades by not focusing so much on the getting good grades but focusing on doing my best in examinations.

4. Consult lecturers when in need. Not depend on my own understanding in certain subjects like FAR 2, Business Statistics, Macroeconomic, and QA . This can reduce stress.

5. More trips to the library and less trips to the mamak. Ehem, quite difficult but I got to try. The only way mamak can stop my friends and I from going will be the increase in price of all the food & drinks there. But, please don’t.

6. Staying healthy by having a healthy lifestyle, like more walking to class than taking car and stay away from MAMAK!

7. Online hours will be limited and study hours will be increased.

8. Hanging out with my friends are essential to decrease my stress level. So, no limit for that la. But hanging out with friends will practically be in MAMAK, right? So, I have no idea how I’m going to avoid the Si Mamak. Adoi~

9. Live everyday like it’s my last day on Earth. Enjoy and cherish every moment, happy or sad. Think positively and remember that no one can make me angry or sad, it’s how I choose to view it, that's it.

10. Just remember that life is short. And in this short span, I want to just enjoy living. Free from worries and anger. Oh yes!

My final exam's result is OUT this afternoon. *Pheww*
It did surprised me somehow.
In a good way but not a pleasant way.

The good way is I learn a lot from my mistakes.

A huge knock on my head that is.. *OUCH*
Maybe I expected too much from the efforts I've put in.
But life still goes now. So, you got to just go with it.

Gotta change my lifestyle like 360 degrees, I pray for SEMESTER 2.
I know what to do now. =)

I was taken by surprised okay. They were so close to me), ate lots of snacks till my stomach can take no more, hmm, what else, oh yea, we did some shopping for dinner. Yummm..

It was an amazing and unforgettable event that happened throughout 14th to 17th December 2010. I can’t tell you how much I’m glad to be a part of the organizing committees. It was a great and fabulous experience. I believe I learn a lot more than being a participant.
I was the Executive member of the Marketing Department of MASC 2010. I must say that it's indeed a privilege to be picked as an organizing committee for Marketing department. I remembered that I have to attend the interview to get this position. Anyway, I learn how to communicate and approach the corporate people in the guidance of Vivien, my Head of Department.

Thank you, Vivien. You have taught me a lot throughout the whole 6 months of preparation. I appreciate it. I recalled that we, the marketers of MASC 2010 have to keep calling companies to sponsor our HUGE event. There were endless of calling for the first 4 months.

Of course, we did face a lot of rejections, but it was alright. At first, it can be difficult to be always being let down, but then again; it’s okay to be rejected once in a while. After that, right, I don’t feel a pinch at all when I was rejected. They can just say “I’m not interested” then hang up. WOW!

Anyway, thank you Vivien for giving me a chance to give a presentation to IBM company and give me a chance to talk to Cheng & Co to confirm their presence and all. In addition, I get to go to Wisma Genting (to collect the prizes for the winners of ICAEW-Genting Explorace), ICAEW company(we gave the buntings back), Bursa Malaysia (to collect RM1000 cheque) and AXP Solution Company ( I secured 400 pens from AXP Solution. Hooray!). How cool is that! I get to experience all these stuffs.

I miss MASC 2010 a lot. Oh yea, did I mention that I was the EMCEE for MASC 2010 Convention Party? Oh yes! I was enjoying myself the whole time. My partner for that night, Jared, well, he was a great emcee too. He “saved” me a lot of times when I made mistakes on stage. We had a blast that evening. There were dancing- Saturday Nite & Chicken Dance. Silly but FUN!! PARTAYY!!!!

I can say, that this emcee thing was the first time that I actually did it. Well, I did once when I was in Standard 6 in front of all from Standard 1 to 6, and it’s Children’s Day. But this is like an official, important & remarkable event ever. It’s BIG!! HUGE! HUMUNGOUS! It was sort of my dream to be able to talk in front of people. I did make a few mistakes, like forgetting to mention the VIP name (dangerous offend, ya know? Perharps I was a lil nervous) but its okay. I forgive myself. Luckily. Jared and Ai Theng came to the rescue- fuhh! I have a few tips to share about being an emcee. I’ll share it next time okay? Hehe. Right now, all I want to do is enthusiastically share to you ALL my experience being a part of MASC 2010.

Then I was the Game Master for Station 4 for the ICAEW-GENTING explorace challenge. This is where the participants are given RM 20 as a capital. With that money,they have buy any items they want and sell it back to the society. The revenue gained will be given to the charity homes. It was indeed a great teamwork building and they can build their self-confidence in dealing with the all kind of society.

What’s next? Oh yea, Michael Teoh and Jason Lo came to our convention. I took a picture with them. I asked Michael Teoh,”Who actually inspire you?” and he answered that “It was Joel Neoh” I also asked him,” when did you start to have this desire to inspire youths today?” His answer was “ It was during university that I read a lot and then after University I started YEM and myharapan” WOW!

Yup. We have Joel Neoh that came and gave a talk on the 3rd day of MASC 2010. It was indeed a great pleasure to have them with us. Thank you for joining us.

I believe MASC 2010 was indeed a success. Everyone including our Central Committees, Organizing Committees, and foremost our dear participants enjoyed and learn a tremendous lot from this convention of the year.

Our director Mr Chin Yui Chai have done a remarkable job in keeping us motivated, feeling appreciated and enthusiastic about this event.

You see, my man goes on,

He is full of ambition.

Thanks to the Publicity department to sought hard to promote MASC 2010 in Facebook, blogspot, roadshows, give out flyers etc. Not only that, they made the nametags for the participants. They even come out with the pre-event promo clip competition. Thumbs up to the Publicity department!

Thanks to the PUBLISHING DEPARTMENT for making the MASC 2010 cool t-shirts and planners. They made the books and dealing with suppliers for the flyers and books. They also did the name cards for both the organizing committees and the participants. It was a great and professional idea. No more, “can you sign my book?”

Thanks to the MULTECH. They are the icing of the cake. The video that were made gave a huge impact on all of us. The organizing committees, including me, were watching it over again and again. It was so professional. So classy. Even ICAEW wanted to hire them if they need advertising. They seriously make MASC 2010 proud. They also made UM proud to have them.

Thanks to the MARKETERS. They helped to find funds for MASC 2010. Without money, there will not be any fund to continue with all the projects. So, it’s very important to have funds and build good networking with the sponsors.

Thanks to the LOGISTIC department. Oh yes! They did a fantastic job in dealing with 5 times per day food, the comfortable accommodation provided and of course the decoration of dewan makan- from a normal dewan makan to a 3-star hotel buffet ballroom. Let's give them a big applause, everyone.

And of course, thanks to the PUBLIC RELATION department. They were the ones that find the top-notch speakers & VIPs- Joel Neoh, Dato’ Johan Raslan, Jason Lo, Dato’ Gan etc. To top that, they were the ushers for the VIPs. Wearing formal clothing all the time, since they were always facing the VIPs.

Nope, I didn't go to the club. Never did. I'm innocent. XD

Anyway,this was taken at Lim Kok Wing University. When I walked in with Xiu Min and Wei Xiang, I found out that there were a lot of foreigners-Africans, China, etc. I can't seem to see any locals there. Lim Kok Wing was once my dream university when my ambition was to be a fashion designer. But today, I'm studying Accountancy. And yes, I'm proud of it,no doubt. Wait~ Why were we in Lim Kok Wing? Well, we were finding Cyberjaya, so on the way, we dropped by for a sight-seeing in that expansive university. You know, 1 bowl of nasi lemak costs RM 9.70.

I was inside Cyberjaya today.

Credit to Xiu Min for taking this awesome pic of me! We received benefit-in-kind sponsors from AXP Solution. We were lost around Cyberjaya since 1pm and managed to be back in UM at 5pm. It was an excellent experience, I might say. Walking up and down. All sweaty and sticky but with determination and the spirit of MASC in our heart, we finally found our way through to AXP Solution office.

I left my "Home Sweet Home" with ETS after 5 days 4 nights,today. In this limited days, I still managed to meet up with Foong, Jia Yi and Lian Ching in Parade. Just like the good old days. Keep each other updated about what's going on in each others' life. I always enjoy gatherings like that. Even in UM, my favourite hang out place will be in Sahur mamak. There, sometimes Maggie and I will meet up with Aizat and his gang, Ah Hang aka Potato, Chun Way aka Budak Kelantan, Ah Chai aka the director of MASC, etc WAIT, what about the girls? Opss. Now only I realised that Maggie and I seldom hang out with girls. Shhh~ Yeah, there's Ling Ling 2nd Year Econs senior, and .... can't think of any.. Hahaha..

Ah, today is the 1st day of MASC workshop. Well, for Marketing department, we only can start this Thurday. So, I've been helping out the Programme Department in the Convention Dinner-turned-party. I think it will be an awesome one, with BALLOONS and with the EMO theme, R&B- Red and Black. Don't you agree that the colours combination is one of the coolest combination ever? Try imaging everyone wearing black and red, with red lipsticks and black eyeliner. Spiky hair and red fingernails. Spooky but nice~ Love it! Like a deck of cards.

So, I'm all alone now since the workshop has ended fast. I wonder what should I do tomorrow cause Ah Chai going to let us REST. Hmm.. HELLO, JIENMAY! IT'S KL!! *knock* *knock*

I want to share pictures of my brother and my cousin brother. During the 5 days break, I took them with Dylisya. to watch Harry Potter. I was sooo into Rapunzel, but then again the votes were 3:1. 3 for Harry Potter. So, being the "eldest", it is my responsibility to 'jaga' them. Cheh wah. Bought snacks from Jusco supermarket and ate inside. Shhh.. Working part time in cinema must be everyone's dream job right? You get to see the latest movies on screen FOR FREE!! I hope to be able to work there during my sem break, but it's kinda far from my house. Well, what about in Domino's Pizza, or Old Town White Coffee, or Petrol station(nah! mum surely won't let) or, MCDONALD!! Nice.. Can't wait to work part time. Hey, what am doing, pouring out my day- dream here? Hehe.. At least I got something to look for in 2011.

Maggie and I. She's the BEST buddy you can ever asked for.

These were taken yesterday. Maggie and I decided to take 2pm ETS train to Ipoh. The comfortable seats are red in colour. Smell nice and look nice.

You have this high class feeling when you enter. The ticket just cost RM30. Cheap right?

I don't know why these few days I'm not that stingy anymore. I guess, the best things in life sometimes got to do with money. So, money does buy happiness? Well, I'll answer you this in the next 5o years.

Here's the train story.

I had this HUGE luggage in it where it's so huge that I can put a human body in it!! MUAHAHAHA*evil laugh*

Anyway,the luggage was so huge, it need THREE ( Maggie and I, with a 30+ nice woman) women to carry it up to the upper compartment of the train. What a scene!

At last, after much struggle, the luggage was successfully on the compartment. Somehow, the luggage seemed dangerous to the people sitting below it, so the train staff worker asked me to take it down and put it in front of the train. Hahaha..

I'm starting to have interest in GUITAR again. <3

Start learning to pluck and all. Gotta get guidelines from YouTube and the internet.

Great in diminishing my stress level and of course, as a delicious, smooth and creamy snack during my study time. Do you know chocolate contain
endorphins?

According to my mum, raisins are good for remembering facts and can reduce your sleepiness. Yeah, during exams you need to burn the midnight oil. So, this helps too, instead of coffee. Plus, it is also good for your eyes,gums and bones.

But the not-so-good fact about raisins is that raisins are great for people who wants to gain weight.

Body-builder usually eat raisins for energy because they contain lots of glucose in it, like any other fruits-take banana for example.

But like Jackie Chan said,

TOO MUCH OF GOOD STUFF IS NOT GOOD

in Karate Kid.

That is why I should only limit to eating all this sweet stuffs ONLY during the examination week.

If you want attention from your boyfriend but he didn't seem to care for he is busy elsewhere, I suggest you tell him how you feel. But if he doesn't bother, well, .........you still get your answer. . Or you fail your exam, that ongive at least you can retake, so not a very good example here. What is the most important here isthanks to the Almighty God for everything that happens come from him and repay your parents for the investment they put on you after many years of raising you up by giving good education and serve you delicious food.

Make your parents proud of you,alright? Let them brag about you and your achievement to the neighbours and friends. Let your grandma has something to talk to her friends during her gatherings about their wonserful grandchild.

So, the conclusion here is, JUST START LIVING AGAIN. LIKE EVERYDAY IS YOUR LAST DAY ON EARTH!!! Join activities, make more friends, start joining clubs, and get married. XD

Cherish every moment in the company of friends and family. Smile to strangers on street. Make someone's day with a smile,that's all it takes.

The New Image.. The Nerd STYLE~

So, my 3 weeks of study week has come to an end. My my. Time flies incredibly fast. I couldn’t believe it. My finals are crawling near; then the HUGE project MASC is coming. AWESOME! I can’t wait!!! Wish me luck! =)

Anyways, what have I done this so called study week which looks more like a holiday to me..Shhh..

1) First week, I went with my beloved grandma to a food fair in Methodist Church Teluk Intan. Had a social networking session with all the aunties and uncles. I was the only teenager there. It’s kinda fun seeing how people their age interact with one another. But the best part was I got a compliment from Uncle Peter that I can communicate well with both old and young people, and this skill is great in the future. He said if I were to make it big in the future, I got to treat him. His wife, who I called Aunty Chu Chu, interrupted saying that she wants to be treated too. I replied them, “Yeah, I’ll remember to treat you both KUIH KOCI”.

2) Next, I went to watch this great movie “STARLINE” with my Tien Jie, my just-turned-15-today brother. Happy birthday, Mister TJ! Don't stop eating yea it shows that you're healthy. It was great that the fact we get to sit in the middle of the cinema with a cheap weekend- entry say RM8 per person. Cheap~ Plus, the movie is kinda unpredictable. The squid-like aliens were very REAL. Yea, I can't deny that at first I thought the movie was sort of erm, you know. I didn't even read the reviews what the movie is all about, it's just the matter of following my heart. I was just, “ Hey, TJ, come go watch movie. What movie nice arh? Come la.” Then off I went after listening to my dad’s speech in the Klinik Gunung Rapat.

3) Subsequently, I read a lot of inspiring books written by inspiring people. Read newspapers every single day to keep myself updated about the world. Then I asked myself, can I inspire people too, SOMEDAY?

4) Oh yeah, guess what? I got a brand new NIKE shoes, but it's giving me terrible blister. Ouch! I wonder how my leg size can grow overnight? Hmmphh and my parents bought me a new spectacles cause you see, my power has increased up to 50%. Gosh! I got to wear spectacles often now or PERMENANTLY. But the NEW SPECS are soooo cool and it fits me and my personality PERFECTLY. A bit pricy though.

5) You know something, during these hibernating weeks, I got a BIG plan. Something so BIG that I need encouragement from my dad and mum. I’m going to discuss this plan with my buddies back in UM, cause I can't do this alone, you see. I need full support and vibes from my fellow friends that I can work with. Let’s just see how it goes. I truly want to make this happen to make a difference. To take the road not taken among first year undergraduates. To make a change.
